He’s been at Deloitte, the founding sponsor of the CBIA, for nine years and is a Senior Manager in the Strategy & Analytics practice. Robert supports CDO's to assess their organizations’ data maturity and develop agency-wide data strategies to plan a path to harness this information as a strategic asset. He has cross sector and industry experience with a long tenure in the defense, national security and justice sector complemented with several years on Commercial data projects. He grew up in Leesburg, VA and now lives with his wife and two kids in Vienna, VA. In his free time, Robert enjoys a mix between travel and checking out the DC area with family/friends, spending family time with his wife and kids and getting back to VT (Blacksburg, VA) when possible. A fun fact is that Robert is a self-proclaimed first VT-shaped student before it was branded - with a business degree with a technical focus and a liberal arts degree, as well as experiential knowledge gained from a business study-abroad program and the cooperative education program.
